We are looking for an expert who will design and develop database structures and schemas, and help the teams adapt to cloud native database solutions. You will join the team that will eventually lead migration processes to Azure cloud paving the way for others.

What will you do?

participate in the management and operations of SQL deployments,

automate the build, operation, backup, restore, and monitoring of databases used across environments,

develop and evaluate database infrastructure performance criteria and measurement methods,

support day-to-day operations and management of enterprise level production databases in the cloud.

Candidate’s profile:

5 years' experience in any of the related traditional MSSQL database technologies (MSSQL, Postgres),

hands-on expertise with performance tuning, high-availability (HA/DR) and data warehousing,

experience with data modeling tools, automation and configuration management tools,

hands-on experience of security assurance tools and ARM, Azure Monitor, Azure AppInsights, Azure DevOps etc., and their integration into the CI/CD cycle,

strong automation skills and strong programming skills: PowerShell / Bash

good understanding of REST API principles, microservice architecture and bus service architecture,

ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices.
