Product intro

API Exploration is the newest tool which will form a part of  a larger API Platform strategy. API Exploration allows users to interact with REST APIs and Kafka services (gRPC, GraphQL and others in the future). With our application, user can:

Explore APIs / web services and work with endpoints;

Euickly review the return values from API calls;

Experiment with different parameters;

Eave Endpoints into an API bucket for easy access;

See the raw byte stream returned by a call;

publish and subscribe with Kafka.

About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will be working on developing the product functionality and adding capabilities for our users. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers, and UX folks. As part of our team you will:  

Develop of one of the most perspective and newest SmartBear product;

Use latest languages, tools and methodologies in daily work: Java 17, React 18, Kubernetes;

Solve challenges in different areas: microservices architecture, async API, desktop application, data modelling etc.

Drive high engineering standards by engaging in peer design and code reviews, example mapping sessions, etc.

Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, UX designers, and product managers geographically spread across our different locations.

We are looking for you if you have:

5+ years experience in software engineering in Java/Java web frameworks and JavaScript

frameworks (React, Angular).

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, and writing maintainable code with

good tests.

Knowledge of software testing.

Experience with PostgreSQL - schema / query design & implementation.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
