About the Role:

As per Compono’s strategic vision, relevant business plans and as designated from the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining the systems and network infrastructure hosted in our environment/s. This position involves building and maintaining our environments, ensuring sufficient capacity for traffic and monitoring system health and performance across the entire stack. This position works closely with the CPTO, our Engineering team members, partners and service providers to ensure our systems are stable, reliable, secure and provide a fast, responsive experience for our customers.

Zakres obowiązków

Build, maintain and optimise a software packaging and code deployment system 

1. Develop automation scripts for provisioning and auto-scaling of infrastructure 
2. Ensure 99.99% uptime and availability of key production systems and supporting infrastructure 
3. Monitor system performance and log data; look for precursors to issues before they become bigger problems 
4. Apply systems security best practices and ensure accurate logging and alerting of security-related issues 
5. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth deployment of software changes and work with project teams on major infrastructure overhauls and upgrades 
6. Stay up-to-date on all current and future AWS services and tools and provide guidance on how best to make use of cloud infrastructure to support company growth 
7. Write and maintain documentation about our infrastructure 
8. Work with the CPTO to participate in infrastructure planning and forecasting
