GDS (Global Dealer System) team has full responsibility of onetime (cost, scope, quality) and runtime deliveries (SLA fulfillment, cost, quality of service) in that scope. We are global team spread on 3 locations, Poland, UK, Sweden. GDS is recognized as Volvo’s core’ solution and is financially critical.  Solution is used in 35 markets, by 15000+ users. Our goal is to make sure that requirements through development process become new business functionalities and are available on production environment.

Currently we are looking for Solution Engineer (QA Specialist).

Role description:

• Cooperate with business stakeholders and internal business analysts to specify and agree on the scope of testing
• Ensure test requirements are reviewed, clear and testable
• Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios
• Gather and manage test data
• Execute test cases as per defined criteria and maintain test results
• Ensure all defects are correctly reported, analyzed, assigned or escalated when needed
• Support during User Validation Testing (User Acceptance Test)

Are we the perfect match?

Required competencies:

• Knowledge of test methodologies
• Experience with test automation tools (preferably. Ranorex, Selenium WebDriver)
• Basic knowledge of any scripting language (or programming language)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• Very good knowledge of English

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with creating and running non-functional tests
• Good knowledge of XML, HTML
• ISTQB certification
