Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Provides consulting for identifying IT Product/Service/Solution (IT P/S/S) quality requirements and deriving quality targets for the IT P/S/S

Provide consulting for creating an efficient quality framework for the IT P/S/S

Ensure proper handle of IT P/S/S risk management and quality assurance plan

Take care for smooth and effective process of problem solving

Conducts spot-check of the operation process adherence

Check and make sure process compliance

Responsible for IT P/S/S quality during a whole lifecycle

Setup of efficient & effective quality management handling based on global as well as Program standards

pro-active cross-check for proper living roles as defined (e.g. TM according to Test Concept, Agile Master for Scrum/Kanban handling, etc) regularly and on certain occasion, e.g. via quality spot checks, internal audits

Participation in major project events (e.g. Scrum Planning/Review) and checking of proper handling according to PMP and/or quality standards

Overall process adherence checks, i.e.

Monitor/Control of knowledge areas including diving into respective subject matter ("manual" inspections) and/or

quality checks of adherence for proper T&R handling

Preparation, Execution and finalization of milestone assessments (QGs, WPMAs & PAs) as well as necessary follow-up work (e.g. measures completion)

Risk Assessment Meeting moderation (incl. prep and post-work)

Reporting of findings as needed to the necessary escalation level (e.g. SME, PjM, PgM or even CI/QMM, see Quality Management Plan)

Qualifications

Profile:

Expert in IT Quality Assurance and control with knowledge of IT lifecycle management

Mature knowledge of Project Methodologies (e.g. Prince2, PMP, Agile) as well as the surrounding Quality Guidelines and application of them as a part of project work

Knowledge of quality methods (e.g. PDCA, 5-Why, 8D, FMEA and similar) and how to apply them

Assertiveness to request and establish high quality standards in an efficient way

Ability to catch up program and project scope to be able to discuss with Program Manager/Project Manager on eye level

Clean working approach

Good knowledge of compliance requirements for software and IT Services

Previous experience as Product/Project Quality Manager

Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflicts when discussing quality compliance topics

Relevant university degree (IT Business Administration, IT Computer Science, Business Informatics)

Experience in IT quality assurance and control with knowledge of IT lifecycle management

Basic knowledge about verification and validation (e.g. testing)

Fluent English language skills, German will be considered a plus
