• 5+ years of Java experience (Financial background is not required)

• Core Java and multithreading knowledge

• Be able to design and implement efficient algorithms

• Be ready to set up and train application development team in an effort to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)

• Good understanding of how hardware / Linux / JVM works

• Be responsible for the code you write

• Reasonable level of English language (be able to read / write / talk on tech topics)

• None of the frameworks knowledge is mandatory though you would benefit from Martin Thompson collections knowledge

• Experience as Applications Development Manager is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master’s degree preferred
