N-iX is looking for a talented Calypso/Adenza Software Engineer to join an existing agile team within the Client's technical team with opportunities visiting UK office for collaboration. Our customer is the one of the largest British Currency management organizations. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative structure, working with in-house team and off-shore software partners both supporting our existing core Microsoft-based applications, as well as building out the next generation products using the latest cloud, web and app technologies.
Zakres obowiązków
- Application designing / development / testing / support / enhancements / bug-fixing
- Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams in order to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanisms, and data sources
- Prepare test plans and conduct Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance, and Functional Testing using automated testing frameworks
- Contribute to the technical designing phase and document the design with UML diagrams and models. Create a prototype for proof of concept and business requirements validations
- Ensure that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of the software development lifecycle and day-to-day development work
- Estimate efforts and schedule for various modules and meet deadlines
- Technical and Release Documentation
- Deployment of system components - Application, Shell Scripts, and Databases
- Participate in out-of-hours / daytime support as required
- Ensure that the application is of good quality, ensure any issues are fixed on priority
- Work with teams to help solve complex technical problems
- Work towards initiatives to improve processes and delivery efficiency
- Contribute towards innovation; suggest new technical practices for efficiency improvement
- Conduct Code reviews
