1. 'Must Have' skillset requirements:
• Proficiency in Java 8/11 programming language and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in using TDD practices and concepts like DRY and Clean Code
• Experience in the use of testing libraries such as Junit, TestNG, Mockito
• Experience in XML & JSON Web Services technologies (SOAP, REST)
• Experience in working with Relational Databases, preferably Oracle, proficiency in use of SQL
• Experience with JMS and use of messaging middleware like MQ Series
• Experience in deployment automation with Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with tools like Git, IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins
• Demonstrated user level knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts, services – preferably GCP and/or AWS
• Experience with development/maintenance of system hosted in Public Cloud environment
• Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, team player attitude
2. Generic 'Nice To Have' skillset requirements:
• Experience with the Cloud Service Providers GCP & AWS as well as containerization such as Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with GCP Services: Spanner, Pub/Sub, GKE
• Familiarity with various architectural styles including Microservices.
• Spring Core as well as Spring Boot frameworks.
