In this role, Software Engineer will work as part of the existing delivery team responsible for developing new projects. As a team member will be responsible for developing OTA applications together with tech team leader, server developers, client developers, DevOps team and quality assurance team. It will require to participate in requirements analysis, development and maintenance, so full project lifecycle. 85% of time will be dedicated to developing new features, 15% of time for support activities. Main development is for new microservices written in Java11-17, Kotlin or Scala (JVM languages in general) with highly covered code by tests and a well documentation. The deployment target is Kubernetes. The methodology is so agile that it is not a clear agile anymore – kind of a variation of Scrum and Kanban which could be called Scrumban.

Software Engineer (Java)

What you need:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Experience in designing, implementation and integration of Java server components and microservices
• Knowledge and experience in using: Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Junit/TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber        
• Hands-on experience with tools like: Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker
• Experience in working with both: relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with microservices and messaging
• Experience in working in Linux environment
• Experience in working in methodologies like Scrum, Kanban
• English language skills allowing smooth communication in a multinational environment
