• Min. 6 years of hands on experience in JAVA, Springboot, JHipster, Postgres SQL, Gerrit, Linux, Graphql.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in deployment of builds on Kubernetes environment.
• Experience in using Visual Studio Code, Postman, putty, ssh, Linux, gerrit, JIRA/Confluence.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, backend development, excellent knowledge of databases, indexing, db locks etc.
• Expert in using JIRA/ITSM tracking tools.

Recently HARMAN Digital Transformation Solutions has put into production a global IoT connectivity system developed for our customer which is one of world top brands in connectivity. For this system we are currently setting up a geographically distributed L3 level support team which is supposed to work in 24/7 mode.  For this mission HARMAN Poland seeks Senior Java EE Support Engineers. 

Planned service out of Poland will be executed in those time windows:
7:30 – 15:30 CET (8:30 – 16:30 during summer daylight saving time)
15:30 – 23:30 CET (16:30 – 00:30 during summer daylight saving time)

You will be working as part of geographically distributed team with other colleagues working in parallel in other geographical locations and different time zones. Work is possible both remotely and from HARMAN office in Łódź. 

Zakres obowiązków

1. You will troubleshoot/investigate/debug and resolve software issues on IoT platform which is developed on JAVA Springboot based microservices deployed on Kubernetes cluster for telecom domain.
2. Resolve escalated issues within defined SLAs. Coordinate with others in the team when required.
3. Estimate, code, unit test, debug, review code of peers.
4. Write and execute database queries in live production environment.
5. Communicate with global clients fluently in English.
6. Document / articulate Root Cause Analysis documentation.
7. Document Release Notes.
8. Estimated 70% of time working on troubleshooting, debugging and defect fixing.
9. Estimated 30% of time designing and developing new features resulting from formal Change Requests.
