Opis oferty 

We are looking for Team Leader for one team which is dealing with Smart Connect Manager and Smart Connect Manager IoT. Someone that is open to different cultures as you can hear daily Polish and Ukrainian, yet everyone in our team speaks Polish so English is not used on daily basis. Someone that the team can count on. Someone that will support team ideas and be able to use the whole potential of the team and each team member. Someone that would like to be the buffer for communication flows to let the team focus on what they are doing  best. Someone that likes to have fun  at work and after work. Team is very open for many initiatives to make them integrated even more. They like to spend time together on workations, workshops and integrations. Most of the team, despite the fact that we have only one true remote developer, works from home. The whole team is 11 brave engineers.

Smart Connect Manager team is responsible for building a product that integrates with the ecosystem of various eSIM services. Our solution provides an entry point that is a consistent and comprehensive set of services with which the customer can easily and transparently manage his eSIM devices. Our clients include mobile network operators, car manufacturers, payment terminal providers and many others.

Smart Connect Manager Plus / IoT team is responsible for building a product that introduces new, Azure-native, service implementing newest GSMA specification (SGP 31, SGP 32). Specification is so new that it is not even released. We are providing product called EIM and we are playing with some Android Demo applications and also Arduino demo kit. With that new product we are going to change the connectivity world.

Teams' Principles

From a technical point of view, we put a lot of effort into 3 elements:   

  • code quality (code review culture, static code analysis, different types of tests),
  • automation (expanded CI with different scans and tests, automatic unit/bdd/ tests, automatic releases)
  • everything as a code (documentation as a code and even code as a code, sometimes we do over-engineer something but it gives us so much joy and knowledge that we will definitely don't stop).

From a team perspective, we're trying to share knowledge among all team members. We are trying to be as cross-functional as we can.

Zakres obowiązków

  1. Help to setup Sprint goals together with Product Owner and the whole team 
  2. Support Product Owner in managing Team backlog 
  3. Facilitate communication between the Team and rest of the organization 
  4. Oversee day-to-day work 
  5. Provide coaching, mentoring and help develop team members 
  6. Motivate (including regular F2F meetings) and inspire 
  7. Promote feedback culture and resolve issues or conflicts 
  8. Maintain positive team spirit, suggest and co-organize team building activities 
  9. Manage communication with delivery team (deployment, SRE, customer e2e testing team) 
  10. Manage escalations 
  11. Manage administrative tasks (vacation, team capacity, recruitment, salary review, performance review)
