Qualifications 

We’re looking for a high-calibre, hands-on Application Developer with an excellent comprehension of modern engineering concepts from toolsets to methods, practices to technologies. 

Key responsibilities 

• Solve complex business challenges, defining and building best practices focused on cloud-native architectures
• Define, build, and deploy effective and targeted strategies to accelerate broad pre-sales engineering activities
• Develop automated solutions to build, deploy, and test applications in a cloud environment
• Own, oversee, and drive improvement of the software development practice across the project team
• Coach/mentor clients, and consulting teams whilst delivering transformative solutions

Specific skills requirements: 

• Significant experience working through the definition, design, release and run cycle of software products to markets - using Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in technically leading teams of engineers
  • Strong knowledge of OOP principles, Web, and API technologies
  • Work with Architect to finalise the design solution and collaborate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks) to finalise the solution design
  • Experience in developing desktop and Web-based applications based on C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .Net Core and other Microsoft technologies
  • Proficiency working in the provisioning, maintenance, and support of technology infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of database technologies based on MS-SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD and tools ex. Jenkins / JIRA/ Confluence / NexusIQ
  • Experience and expectations of using multiple programming languages to solve problems
  • Experience with agile development (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and within an agile project team (agile in ability to perform cross-functional tasks quickly) – balancing multiple projects and collaborating closely with other development teams.
  • Understands the importance of a good team dynamic, is a team player, a very capable communicator and comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
  • Familiar with Unit Test / Regression Test / e2e Test and Sophisticated with Subversion tools ex. Git
