DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Hands on board are needed for a project for our Swiss real estate client! 

We are helping our client with their digital transformation to the cloud. Project is focused on conceptual and development tasks related to areas like: data warehousing, ETL and task orchestration. There is a great idea to start fully automated, properly organised  and well secured, without any excuses!  

Your role will be suggesting, designing and building fully automated infrastructure for the new data related projects in accord to the already know standards. Automation is related to the every aspect of the project. From infrastructure, through DB structures to transport, modeling and reprocessing of the data.

Your responsibilities:

  • creation of ETL infrastructure,
  • support and build infrastructure automation from scratch,
  • building automation pipelines,
  • digital transformation,
  • large data migrations to the cloud.

 

Required experience and qualifications:

  •  at least 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, DataOps, Data Engineering or related works,
  • experience with AWS cloud (FARGATE, RDS, S3, VPC networking),
  • experience with Python programming,
  • experience with Infrastructure as a Code tools (preferred Terraform),
  • experience with building CI/CD pipelines (preferred GitLab CI/CD pipelines),
  • experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes etc.),
  • great communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • experience with Snowflake data warehousing,
  • experience with relational databases, data warehouses and SQL,
  • experience with DataOps tools (like Flyway, dbt),
  • AWS Certification.
