We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Customer Production Support team. You will be responsible for providing application support and back-end development services to ensure that our systems are running smoothly, optimised and meet customer requirements.

This is a full-time position dedicated to one customer. You will be a part of a team that is committed to delivering high-quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient application support and back-end development services to ensure smooth operations and optimisation of our systems.
  • Monitor and analyse logs to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Work closely with the development team to resolve defects, customer enhancements, and updates to meet customer requirements.
  • Follow ITIL processes to ensure quality service management, incident management, and change management.
  • Respond to submitted customer tickets and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of tasks.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to the systems supported.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • 2+ years of experience in application support, back-end development, or related fields.
  • Strong scripting background (e.g. Bash, Perl, Python, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Java Core, Docker Compose, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Unit testing, JSF, Spring Webflow, Liquibase, Git or Mercurial, Maven.
  • Experience working with REST API and knowledge of HTTP protocol.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work occasionally across multiple time zones, incl. USA.

 
The following skills would be a plus:

  • Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools (e.g. Nagios, Splunk, ELK Stack, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (e.g. incident management, change management, problem management, etc.).
