Opis oferty

  • Extensive experience in software engineering, including Java (version 17+), and optionally Scala 
  • Proven ability to design and develop large-scale distributed systems using microservices architecture, with excellent knowledge of different methods for interservice communication such as gRPC, REST, and Kafka 
  • Good grasp of relational and non-relational database concepts 
  • Experience managed Kubernetes, such as EKS, GKE, or AKS 
  • Excellent soft skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of technical challenges 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban 
  • Fluent in English and Polish

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our team and help us build a large-scale IoT device management platform that allows clients to easily monitor, connect, and manage their devices, as well as integrate them with external systems.

This is an opportunity for Staff Level Engineers to join the team and have a significant impact on the product and create scalable, global, and resilient architecture to handle hundreds of millions of devices simultaneously.

Zakres obowiązków

  1. Lead the design and development of software applications and microservices using Java (version 17+) and optionally Scala 
  2. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, including conducting code reviews and providing feedback on technical decisions 
  3. Participate in the recruitment of new engineers to the team 
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations to ensure that software development efforts align with business objectives 
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and microservices architecture, and make recommendations for implementation in our products 
  6. Drive technical excellence and innovation within the team, and ensure that software development processes are followed and optimized for maximum efficiency 
  7. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives
