Aeolus Robotics Inc. (https://aeolusbot.com) is looking for 3 skilled and motivated people willing to become  Manual QA Engineers, and join our Robot Testing Team in the Wroclaw Robotic Lab. We are seeking people who are hands-on, technical, and passionate about robotics, maintaining mechanical or electrical and electronic subsystems as well as programming our advanced mobile robots. We are looking for experience and passion for making the details of highly complicated systems work, in support of both production and research.

This role is based in our R&D Lab located in Wroclaw and due to nature of a Test Lab it is an on-site position. However, some flexible working is possible.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Poland.

We are also happy to consider candidates looking for FTE (UoP) contract.

Job responsibilities:

As a Manual QA Engineer you will be responsible for testing, maintenance, repair, reworking, and prototyping - keeping the R&D fleet alive! - both supporting current development and deployment, as well as using your experience to feed back to design, process, and product improvements. Besides that, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting SW/System Integration testing of our robots.
  • Troubleshooting robot software.
  • Assisting robot tests with all SW/HW developers around the world.
  • Designing performance tests and reporting results.
  • Writing scripts and simple software to support tests and general robot maintenance.
  • Learning and understand the latest software and hardware functions of the robot.
  • Supporting WrocÅ‚aw Robotic Lab Operations.

You will work in a Kanban-based agile development cycle. You will be working alongside founders, researchers, and engineers to design and build first-generation robotic solutions for service industry clients.

You will be measured in ability to communicate with software resources around the globe effectively, implement and integrate new functionalities on the robot.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience), a plus if with Robotics background.
  • 1 year of experience and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Good knowledge of general programming and GIT.
  • QA Experience: Test planning and execution.
  • Good English communication skills - writing and speaking.
  • Engineering school level of hardware and system integration knowledge.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a changing working environment.
  • Patience, systematic approach.
  • Ability of fast learning.
