Ideal candidate

• Hands-on experience with backend engineering with a strong focus on code quality is a must
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise-grade backend systems
• Proficient in modern web framework and web-backend components like RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle), MessageQueue (e.g., RabbitMQ), Modern web server (e.g., nginx), Container technology (e.g., Docker), Authentication system (e.g., LDAP), etc.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, Git, Jenkins, Github, JIRA, etc.
• Java or Scala experience is nice to have
• Good knowledge and experience of the Hadoop ecosystem (YARN, HDFS, Spark) is a plus
• Innovative team player, with great communication skills (both Polish and English). Able to work independently 
• A graduate degree (BS/MS/PhD) in computer science

Important information: 

For candidates living outside of Warsaw, the first week of onboarding takes place in the office in Warsaw. The work is hybrid for the next 6 months (2-4 days a month spent in the city). The company covers the costs of accommodation and travel!
Later on, it is possible to work 100% remotely.
