Today we are looking for a new Data Team member who will support the team in data engineering and devops.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in data teams with focus on data modeling and development of reusable data based solutions. 

The main platform would be DataBricks on AWS and your role will be focused on supporting analytical and data science teams with technical expertise. 

We expect you to have prior experience with DataBricks, Redshift, S3, Airflow and be fluent in Python programming (for data).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Support data analysis and science team with technical expertise

Design and develop reporting capabilities

Everyday work with data - data engineering, creating ETLs, connecting diverse data sources

Build code that manipulates data from data warehouse, APIs and event streams

Create and manage pipelines and ETL processes

Educate data analysts and scientists on best practices in data management and processing

Manage, develop, prioritize and recommend initiatives to improve and build upon the data architecture to support the team

Ensure consistency of process and usage, and champions best practices in data management 

Oversee data accuracy processes, goals and assessment

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in cloud solutions, preferably AWS as data engineer

Previous experience with DataBricks

Understanding of core business intelligence

Expertise in SQL & Python & Scala

Advanced knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Advanced knowledge of SQL databases and methods enabling efficient data retrieval and processing

English level allowing to take part in meetings,  read and write documentation

NICE TO HAVE

Previous experience in ecommerce/ retail company
