The international IT-company Andersen invites an experienced Ruby Developer to work on a large-scale project.
The project is the development of a platform for providing leasing services and crediting the purchase of a car.
The customer is a company providing its services in car leasing in the Baltic countries, Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and East Africa. It was founded in 2012 in Riga (Latvia).
You have:
Experience of developing in Ruby, Ruby on Rails for 4+ years;
Experience with server-side rendering: Asset Pipeline, ERB template;
Experience in writing Unit-tests (RSpec);
Experience with MySQL, Redis (transactions, triggers, views);
Experience in Rubocop;
Experience with Grape framework (API), Capistrano;
Working with web-server Unicorn;
Knowledge of Sidekiq, Releaf tools;
Knowledge of and experience with Capybara / Capybara-webkit / Poltergeist web automation environment;
Knowledge of SimpleCov;
Experience with ParallelTests;
Experience with CI;
Experience with Git version control (GitLab CE) and RuboCop;
Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team, willingness to learn new tools and technologies;
Level of English – Intermediate.
Responsibilities:
Developing new features and components on the back-end side;
Supporting the current functionality of the application;
Unit testing;
Bug fixing;
Working in an Agile environment.
