It would be advantage if you:

• Have experience with any NoSQL Key value databases technology (MongoDB, Couchbase) and / or Hadoop eco-system 
• Have knowledge of ONgDB or Postgres 
• Have knowledge of version-control system GIT 
• Have some programming/scripting experience, i.e., Python, Bash, Go, PHP, etc. 
• Have hands-on experience in configuration management tools i.e. Puppet, Ansible, etc.  
• Have experience with any of monitoring tools, i.e., Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana, etc.

About the team: 

Data Services Team is a part of Adform‘s DEV & IT department located in Warsaw and Vilnius. Together with Cloud Services, Datacenter & Network and Security teams and in close cooperation with DevOps Group, we ensure, that our global infrastructure is operating at highest availability, is scalable, reliable, secure and provided services for our clients and stakeholders ensure stable Adform platform as well as continuously improved infrastructure to achieve Adform product development goals. 

Team responsibilities:

• provides Database as a Service for Microsoft SQL, Vertica, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Aerospike, Redis, Elastic Search
• ensures the availability and maintenance of data stream-processing and message-broker technologies, like Kafka & RabbitMQ
• supervises big data processing and storage platforms on Apache Hadoop and its multiple related tools

Zakres obowiązków

1. Collaborate with your team, department teams, stakeholders and management to be always up to date on what is the most valuable way you can contribute towards Adform's goals and agreed SLA‘s 
2. Automate everything what needs to be done more than once 
3. Perform databases engineer routine tasks to keep the service up to date and performing to the highest standards and Adform technology stack requirements: 
4. Performance tuning 
5. HA management 
6. Setups, updates, patches, version upgrades 
7. Security improvements 
8. Backup and recovery 
9. Logging, monitoring and alerting 
10. Solve incidents, consult stakeholders on improvements, cooperate with vendors' technical support 
11. Share knowledge and consult stakeholders on architecture and usage of databases 
12. Continuously develop your personal, interpersonal, and technical competencies
