What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Data/ETL Engineer to for the SAS Cloud team in SAS’s Cloud and Information Services division, you will be responsible for all aspects of our data management systems in SAS Cloud.

As a Data / ETL Engineer, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation and have ownership and support of the ETL function within SAS Cloud. You will be responsible for a vital function of the business working to consolidate clients’ logistical data into a platform.

You will:

Analyze current ETL process for client systems and support error troubleshooting through runbook

Data auditing and validation

Update/develop related procedures and documentation

Analysis of missing spare part items

Reviewing transaction history to ensure all parts uploaded to data base are in chronological order.

Multi-tasking in a hosting and production support driven environment

Ability to diagnose and resolve problems in a timely fashion

On call production support (24x7)

Additional responsibilities may include: 

Serve as technical escalation support other team members.

Contribute to overall service quality by identifying and /or improve the customer experience with SAS Cloud services.

What we’re looking for

At least 3 years of experience working as an ETL developer, SQL developer, BI developer

Proficiency in Unix, Linux and Windows Operating Systems

Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)

Coding languages: Python or Java

Experience testing, supporting and automating ETL pipelines

Experience working in the ETL function

communicative knowledge of Polish and English - a necessary condition

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as strong decision-making skills

Ability to interact well with development groups and end users
