We are looking for a Data Engineer who is a self-starter and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. 

What does the role entail:

Data pipeline or software engineering using popular programming languages 

Developing data flows using SQL or end-to-end data integration / data management tools 

Analysing large and varied data sets across different functions or industries 

Preparing solution documentation, and driving technical standards 

Validating data cleansing performed by the business to ensure adherence to quality criteria 

Support the Data Analysts with new data pipelines or automating processes  

Our requirements:

Experience of working on multiple projects as a Data Engineer 

Advanced SQL skills 

BSc Computer Science or equivalent

Structured problem-solving – able to understand the problem and break it down to find the solution 

Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and able to work well within a team and independently 

Strong hands-on technical background with a firm grounding in data engineering tools and frameworks 

Good communication skills – business-facing and able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders through the appropriate medium
