Opis oferty

The  client is a US-based hedge fund, the investment management division of one of the largest banks in the world.

We are helping a US-based investment fund to enhance UI web components by working with a small scrum team of experts. By working on the project, you will take part in modernizing the software for a company that is part of one of the largest investment banks.

We are looking for a JavaScript Front-end developer who will be working in a small scrum team of experts that will focus on enhancing UI web components.

Zakres obowiązków

  1. Start from scratch and redesign UI using the latest version of ExtJS 7.6. We have multiple applications with ExtJS 3.4-based UI (very interactive Single Page Applications with 100s of screens) that make the development of advanced UI easy and fast
  2. Rewrite/port existing applications to the new UI
  3. Improve documentation and education for best practices that we learned over the years but didn't always go back to refactor older code: use only asynchronous API for server communication, use only our APIs for accessing lower-level features of the underlying UI widgets, implement routing
  4. Focus on user experience. Periodically follow up with the users to learn what we can do to make UI more effective. Encourage the business to bring up ideas for how to improve UI. Using our best practices, continue enhancing the user experience. Leverage UI experts for common features
  5. Implement automated UI testing and make it a part of CI/CD
