Wave is a regional internet provider based in Gdynia, Poland. Established 2004, we are on a mission to provide fast, reliable internet access, mainly to residents of suburban areas with low service availability. We deliver our services to thousands of satisfied customers in northern Poland.

Wave is currently hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join our Systems and Networks Team. This position will be responsible for daily operations of our distributed branch networks and leading the team of network administrators.

Our office: Amona 2, Gdynia

Your Tasks

• Leading network administrators team dealing with our global WAN network and customer networks
• Monitoring of mission-critical systems to prevent delays and outages in our systems and networks
• Active planning, creating standard operating procedures and policies
• Performing research and analysis of occurring issues, developing, and recommending best-practice solutions
• Developing network management and alerting tools
  
  

You Shall Need To Have

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a Senior Network Engineer
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• WAN networks experience and competence
• Specialist knowledge in areas of networking, such as configuration of switches, firewalls, load balance and BGP routing
• Being highly organized, innovative with problem-solving skills
• Being Self-motivated with strong team leading skills
• Proficiency level Polish communication skills
• Experience working with Mikrotik, Ubiquiti and Cambium devices would be an asset
